The fucked up fast forward version via XXL
I’ve got mixed feelings about this song. It seems to be pretty solidly mediocre, perhaps a little better than average.
The lyricism is standard Nas shit, it’s not like he blew my mind or anything. It’s pretty much your standard black power ghetto rhymes. The beat sounds a lot like “You Da Man” from Stillmatic mixed with “Black Republicans” from Hip-Hop is Dead.
This hasn’t hurt or helped my anticipation for Nigger Nas. What really killed the buzz for me was Nas pussying out on the title. Again.
